Eric "adreN" Hoag (born April 26, 1990) is a American professional player and was part of the original Team Liquid line-up picked up in January of 2015 as part of Chill Guys. Pulling of some huge awp holds, clutch plays and representing TL from 2015-2016, appering at 1 major (part of that Coldzera clip that we want to forget XD).
Beyond his contributions as a player, Eric was a integral mark on Team Liquid's historic grand slam run. His coaching prowess and strategic insights were integral to Team Liquid's success, cementing his place in the TL hall of fame!!!

organizations across his career, and was part of the original Team Liquid line-up when he was signed

Daps would later return to Team Liquid in June 2022 to bring some much needed tactics and ideas into
the roster. With Daps as the coach, the team has made some notable accomplishments placing 2nd at both
ESL Pro League Season 16 and Blast Premier: World Final 2022. Along with these placements, Team
Liquid would also make some playoff runs in a couple of the most premier tournaments in CS:GO,
finishing in the Quarter-Finals of Intel Extreme Masters(IEM) - Cologne 2022 and IEM Katowice 2023,
with a Quarter-Final finish at the last CS:GO Major ever. Daps has certainly elevated the Team Liquid
roster from its results in 2021 and early 2022 and it will be exciting to see how the current roster performs
with him behind them.

Jacob “FugLy” Medina (born January 2, 1995) is a retired Canadian professional player who was part of
the original Team Liquid line-up when Chill Guys was acquired by Team Liquid in January 2015. While
most of his achievements came during his time with NRG, placing 1st at cs_summit 3 and IEM -
Shanghai 2018, with a few playoff finishes at ESL One: New York 2018 and StarSeries & i-League
Season 6, FugLy was still one of the core members who helped to bring Team Liquid to CS:GO and must
be recognized for all that he did for the organization. He was eventually replaced by s1mple who joined
the team in 2016.

flowsicK
(2015)
Kyle "flowsicK" Mendez (born April 10, 1991) is a retired American professional player who joined Team Liquid in May 2015 as a support player. With flowsicK replacing Daps on the main roster, adreN would take up the mantle of being the in-game leader. While flowsicK’s time with Team Liquid was a brief 4 months, he is still part of the team that many North Americans supported during their time as North American squad, and for that he is still an integral part of Team Liquid’s identity in CS:GO.
Hiko
(2015-2017)
Spencer “Hiko” Martin (born March 6, 1990) is a retired American professional player who joined Team Liquid in September 2015. Hiko brought some much needed experience to a roster that was otherwise very young and inexperienced when it came to playing internationally. Hiko joining the roster gave the team a boost when it came to rifling as well as a player who is very well known for his ability to win impossible rounds. From his 1v5 against Sponsorless to his multiple clutches at the MLG Columbus 2016 Major. Hiko was the player you wanted to have in any 1vX situation. Hiko’s most notable accomplishments with Team Liquid came during 2016 where the team had semi-final finishes at the MLG Columbus 2016 Major and ESL One: New York 2016. The highlight of Hiko’s time on Team Liquid was where led the team to the Finals of ESL One: Cologne 2016, the first ever appearance of a North American Team in a major grand finals. What Hiko brought to Team Liquid is something that will ensure his spot in the TL hall of fame forever.
s1mple
(2016)
Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyljev (Born October 2, 1997) is a Ukranian professional CS:GO player who currently plays for Natus Vincere as the AWPer. While today s1mple is considered to be one of the greatest and most accomplished CS:GO players of all time, he was an integral part of the Team Liquid roster when he joined in January 2016. During his time on Team Liquid, s1mple helped the team achieve 2 playoff runs at both majors that year, finishing 3-4th at MLG Columbus 2016 and 2nd at ESL One Cologne. While s1mple was originally not supposed to play for Team Liquid past April 2016, he was brought back to the line-up as a stand-in for adreN to play his final 2 events for Team Liquid, ECS Season 1 Finals and ESL One Cologne. At ESL One Cologne, in the semi-finals against fnatic, he made one of the most ridiculous plays ever witnessed by a CS:GO crowd, a falling double no-scope which has been immortalized in the game on the map Cache under B Heaven. Since his time on Liquid, s1mple has achieved all of the achievements a CS:GO player dreams of, including but not limited to, being named the best player in the world by HLTV.org for 3 years and being runner-up in 2019 and 2020, a Major Championship, the Intel Grand Slam, 21 HLTV MVP medals and numerous other S-Tier trophies from IEM and ESL events
koosta
(2016)
Kenneth "koosta" Suen (born June 3, 1996) is a retired American professional CS:GO player. He is most well known for his time outside of Team Liquid with an organization known as Gen.G. While on Team Liquid, koosta, took over AWPing for the roster when he joined in February 2016 as a replacement for adreN. While koosta was unable to perform to his potential with Team Liquid, he helped the roster finish 3-4th at Dreamhack Austin 2016 and place runner up at iBuyPower Invitational 2016 - Spring. Overall, koosta has made some incredible plays for Team Liquid, even if it did not translate to any successful big tournament championships, he is still one of the many players who has had an impact on Team Liquid’s CS:GO roster.
jdm64
(2016-2018)
Josh "jdm64" Marzano (born May 20, 1990) is a retired American professional CS:GO player. He is well known for his time with Counter Logic Gaming(CLG) and Team Liquid. JDM joined Team Liquid in June 2016 as a replacement for koosta. During his time with Team Liquid, JDM helped the organization reach multiple playoffs in large tournaments, with a couple of semi-final finishes, most notably, ESL Pro League Season 5, and ESL One: New York 2016. He also helped the roster reach multiple runner up placements, the most notable of them being at ESL One: Cologne 2016, which was the first time a North American roster had made it to the Grand Finals of a Major tournament. The other notable runner up finishes came at ESG Tour Mykonos 2017 and ESL One: New York 2017. His most iconic play during his time with Team Liquid came at the ELeague Major Atlanta 2017, where he 1v5’d Envyus to keep Team Liquid in their opening match where they would eventually force the game to overtime(OT) and lose 21-25. While his time on the roster never resulted in any trophies for Team Liquid, the incredible clips that he has given Team Liquid fans is truly special and for that he will be remembered as one of the greatest Team Liquid AWPers in the history of the organization.
Pimp
(2016-2017)
Jacob "Pimp" Winneche (born July 31, 1995) is a Danish professional CS:GO broadcast analyst and former player. His time with Team Liquid began in June 2016, however his first official big tournament with the organization was in October 2016, ESL One New York 2016. This tournament was the best placement that Team Liquid would have while he was a part of the roster. His incredible ability to anchor bombsites and clutch rounds made him an incredible asset to the team during their ESL One New York 2016 run which ended with a semi-final finish. Pimp brought some stability to the Team Liquid roster after the ESL One Cologne 2016 Major which saw the organization lose s1mple to Natus Vincere. He would later be transfer-listed in March 2017 and left the organization in July 2017, but his raw talent gave Team Liquid a boost in firepower after losing one of, if not the worlds best CS:GO player of all time, and for that he was an important piece to the history of Team Liquid’s roster.
stanislaw
(2017-2018)
Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz (born March 22, 1994) is a Canadian professional CS:GO player who has played for numerous teams, most notably of those being, Optic Gaming, Complexity, NRG, Evil Geniuses and Team Liquid. Joining Team Liquid in February 2017, he took up the mantle of the IGL role and replaced Hiko on the starting roster. Most of the tournaments with stanislaw at the helm of the the roster ended with occasional playoff runs with semi-final and runner up finishes, and it wasn’t until his time on NRG and eventually Evil Geniuses that he would finally see some results. Stanislaw gave Team Liquid a new look on the game with his IGL style and allowed for Team Liquid to begin to dominate the local qualifiers within the North American region, and occasionally had deep playoff runs at big events through his time at Team Liquid, and due to that his place in Team Liquid is an important one and is one that cannot and should not be forgotten.
steel
(2017-2018)
Lucas "steel" Lopes (born November 19, 1993) is a Brazilian professional CS:GO player who is best known for his time playing under the Immortals organization and Team Liquid. Steel joined Team Liquid in November 2017 and in his first official big tournament with Team Liquid, results were immediately better, as Team Liquid claimed the trophy at the cs_summit 2 event. After this event, it seemed that steel was never able to replicate the success of the Immortals roster, where he placed 2nd in the PGL Krakow Major 2017. His time on Team Liquid came to an abrupt end in April 2018 where he was replaced by TACO, who was on paper, a far better fit for the line-up and gave the team a much needed confidence boost. Steel however, did bring Team Liquid their first ever CS:GO trophy with the cs_summit 2 championship, and for that he will forever be in the TL Hall of Fame.
TACO
(2018)
Epitácio "TACO" de Melo (born January 24, 1995) is a Brazilian professional CS:GO player who is best known for being a core member of the Luminosity-SK-MIBR lineup, while also having a stint in Team Liquid. TACO was brought in to Team Liquid in April 2018 and was a part of the Team Liquid core that would go on to have runner-up finishes in 6 grand finals against the best team in the world at that time, Astralis. The only championship that TACO won under the Team Liquid banner was SuperNova Malta 2018, however, his addition to the Team Liquid roster gave the team some much needed experience, and helped the roster to 12 playoff finishes out of 15 big events for that year. While TACO brought experience from his previous team, it never seemed to be enough to give Team Liquid that push to win tournaments, however his experience and knowledge of the game seemed to boost Team Liquid’s understanding of the game, as well as gave the roster the confidence they needed in order to make multiple deep playoff runs in most of the big events that he participated in with Team Liquid. He would later be traded back to MIBR where he was replaced by Stewie2K.
Twistzz
(2017-2020)
Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken (born November 14, 1999) is a renowned Canadian CS:GO player best known for his time in Team Liquid and later on Faze Clan. Joining Liquid in 2017 as a replacement for Pimp, Russel instantly rose to his prominence for his incredible mechanical skill. During his time with Team Liquid, Twistzz was pivotal in Liquid winning grand finals throughout 2018 and 2019 with some notable performances at ESL One New York 2018 and IEM Sydney 2019, gaining him two HLTV MVP awards. According to fan poles, his most iconic play during his time with Team Liquid came at the EPL Season 9 2019, where he 1v4 aced MIBR to secure Team Liquid the round. Whilst Twistzz joined as an up incoming Talent, he left TL as one of the best players to ever come out of North America, respected by each and every fan (TL & otherwise) and 100% solidifies his legacy as one of the all-time greats in the organisation's history.
Stewie2k
(2019-2021)
Jacky "Stewie2k" Yip (born January 7, 1998) is a inactive American professional CS:GO player, renowned for his aggressive but very cerebral playstyle. Stewie2k made a name for himself with his unconventional but high-impact "smoke criminal" plays. His journey in professional CS:GO began with his tenure on Cloud9, a announcement criticised by pros and the public alike. Despite this, he quickly cemented his spot in the roster and was a pivotal part of the roster's historic major run, securing their victory at the ELeague Major Boston 2018 after being down , making them the first and only North American team to win a CS:GO Major. Stewie2k's contributions to the team, as a rifler, awper "just look at the time" and in-game leader, played a crucial role in their success.
After 2 years on the roster and a major title under his belt, he decided to move on and join Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo's leadership in SK-MIBR. Following months of up-and-down results, and one tournament win at ZOTAC Cup Masters 2018 over Team Kinguin, he returned to his North American roots and joined Team Liquid. His addition to the roster as the final piece of the puzzle, saw immediate results with a win over long term rival Astralis at iBUYPOWER Masters IV. Continuing 2019, he won the second Intel Grand Slam, becoming the first North American player to win both a Major and an IGS trophy. Throughout his career, Stewie2k has accumulated numerous accolades, including 2 HLTV MVP awards, one Major win and 12 other LAN victories. His contribution to the North American CS:GO scene his paramount and his impact on the game make him one of the most respected and accomplished players in the world of professional Counter-Strike.
Grim
(2020-2021)
Michael “Grim” Wince (born November 22, 2000) is a professional CS:GO player known for his time with Team Liquid and Complexity. Grim joined Liquid during the lockdown period which was not the best moment for a team in NA. Although it was lockdown, Grim rose to prominence during his tenure with Liquid. He showcased his versatile skills as a rifler and contributed to the team’s performance in multiple tournaments. Joining Team Liquid during the challenging period of lockdown, Grim quickly adapted to the high-rising pressure with a team like Liquid. He played a crucial role in the team as an anchor which was completely different from his time at Triumph where he played as the absolute star he was meant to be. His stint with Liquid saw some notable accomplishments (1st place at cs_summit 8 and Fall showdown 2021 , 2nd at IEM Global Challenge, 4th place at BLAST World Finals 2021 and BLAST Global Finals 2020) including consistent performances and competitive appearances against top-tier opponents. In the end things didn't work out and the team parted ways with Stewie, Grim and Fallen leaving.
In a strategic move, Grim joined Complexity where he marked a new chapter in his career. As part of Complexity he became a star again and got later on reunited with EliGE. He continued to display his prowess as a skilled player aiming to contribute to the team’s success. Since CS2 they have started to achieve things they could’ve dreamed of (this with a notable reference to IEM Sydney 2023 where they placed 2nd and Blast Final where they placed 3rd-4th).
